A New Trick for The Fallen Timber Net #4

I was out fishing one of my favourite creeks today and I discovered a neat trick to do with the Fallen Timber Net #4. This particular net is Tenkara style – it has a very curved long handle that is tucked into your waistband of your waders when you carry it. The long curved handle serves another purpose, the net can stand up alone at the edge of the creek because of the long handle and the curved leading edge on the main hoop. By doing so the net creates a deep target netting point for a fish that is on your line. So now instead of standing by the creek edge and leaning towards the fish to net it you walk backwards guiding the fish to the standing net.
